Tobi Karim

Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Tobi Karim is the Founding Member of The African Feminist.  She credits the birth of TAF to her love for gathering information or as her mother would put it…being nosy.

She has previously contributed to the African Journal for Security and Development and is a Director of Project HALO, a non-profit organisation that supports the development of black communities through education and training programmes, scholarships and the support of SMEs in the UK and Nigeria.

She also has a first class degree in International Relations and an MPA in Energy, Technology and Climate Policy.

By day, Tobi is a business development analyst, in a real estate firm and by night she is a promising ballerina. She loves to eat but hates to cook and is a bookworm and lover of languages.
